So I will admit that the Sims is one of those games series that I just forget how popular and successful they have been since the original way back in the year 2000 and in the 14 years since has sold at least 18 million copies worldwide. Will (SimCity) Wright, Maxis and EA must have a winning formula as with each game and expansion the sales just never seem to drop.

EA might be all about its Sports franchises now as they seem to focus on FIFA and Madden each year but the sales figures don't lie and the Sims must be considered as one of their major franchises going forward.

Now we come to the end of 2014 and we have a new advert for the Sims 4 that is very funny with the Player's finger pushing people and backgrounds. Also, some perspective shots where people in the foreground can affect people in the background, as in the game, to see what happens.

The series itself has just been getting better with each new instalment with the A.I getting vastly improved over the last few years. The graphics also have come on leaps and bounds and from afar can come across as a little simple but on closer inspection the characters are highly detailed and have an almost cartoon caricature spirit about them.

In essence, what we have here is a game that anyone can pick up and play, and the fun is making people that you know and putting them in dire or funny situations, just seeing how they react to these. The Sims 4 came out a few months ago to glowing reviews and for once, nowadays, no major game breaking glitches or bugs.

We loved the Sims 4 and gave it 4/5 a few months ago and with the continued support of DLC you just know that if you get hooked, you can be playing this one game for months, if not years, as there is so much to do with loads of replay value.

We loved how in depth the new ‘Create-A-Sim’ has become and even the build mode allows you to create any home, room you can think of with just some clever dragging of simple creation tools. So with this, you can create any person and home you can think of. The Sims 4 won’t let you create your dreams, it will let you build something better.
