Petit Computer is a sandbox based program, or DSiWare that will allow you to create virtually anything, such as music, pictures, videos and you can even turn that spectacular idea of yours, into the video game that it should be.

 

Petit Computer is not just for those that are familiar with programming though, so don’t be deterred. You can pick this up from either extensive knowledge of programming, and the programming language BASIC (Beginners All-purpose Symbolic Instruction Code), to absolutely no knowledge of programming at all. Petit Computer uses a specially modified version of BASIC allowing programmers of all levels to be able to use it.

 

The programming aspect of Petit Computer utilises the DSi and 3DS touch screen in order to select the programming commands, and running/testing programs it really is that simple. In addition to being able to create your own programs, games, music and much more, you will be able to share your creations with the world through the Nintendo Network.

 

You will also be able create your own QR (Quick Response) Codes that will allow other users to scan them quickly with the camera on their DS, and download your creations. Quick Response Codes are the square barcode type codes that can be scanned using most smart devices, such as SmartPhones, Tablets and your Nintendo DS.
