On the story page Ghost Cleaner describes itself as a puzzle game mixed with an arcade game, and i can tell you that its just Peggle but with some physics based levels.

Overall the game is not worth it. Why do i believe that? Well...

The story is told by comic panel, and while they are well presented, the whole thing is a big mess. From what i had to piece together is that it centers around three siblings, one of which is a mad scientist, in the field of ghost, an experiment goes wrong and now ghost are visible and causing mischief. Now with her brother and sister you go around and umh... get rid of them i think. And there are evil ghost and honestly there in to need for this story since the gameplay has almost nothing to with it.

Music is nice but there is only 2 or 3 tracks, and the sound effects are more or less the same as in Peggle.

The style is, well, again like Peggle, or at least the bricks are. The comic cut scenes are nice and the backgrounds are nice, but they are so few and far between that you get bored with them.

The gameplay is similar to Peggle if not for two differences- physics based levels and the bullet shop(maybe they are no so unique since my knowledge of Peggle is small). The goal of the game is simply fire a set amount of balls and destroy the purple bricks to pass the level. And get up to a 3 star rating at the end. Some levels have physics based puzzles, where the smartest thing you can do is just aim the bricks that served as hinges and let the everything else fall of screen, also the physic puzzles on some levels can lead to some enjoyable one shot done moments. Other than that, the rest of the levels are alright in design i guess. And i have to give them credit on the, in may opinion, fair way to judge you rating. One star for completing the level, two for beating it without using a special bullet and three stars if you do previous stuff and destroy all of the bricks on the level. As for the special bullets, after each level you get a small amount of currency that you use to buy special ammo types that have varying effects, like passing through bricks or levitating up or exploding. But there are bad points to the gameplay! One(may not be exclusive to this game) but some levels when you fail and restart them, the placements of the purple bricks change, which on harder difficulties can get frustrating. The other problem is the physics based puzzle on some levels can actually make the level impossible to complete, I am not kidding.

In the end, i would say that if cant afford Peggle give this a try, but checking again, this is actually more expensive than that, like by a pound/buck. So basically what i am saying is don’t make your clone game more expensive than the original. I mean if you really wish to play Peggle with a bit of a Halloween twist and a few physic based levels, and have 6 pounds to spare, then... well there you go. I personally would pass.
